As I end year three of being the Executive Director of the Family Refuge Center, my primary focus is on the future of this organization. The need for increased services to victims of crime has heavily presented itself in the past year.

 

Our staff have dedicated countless hours providing more enhanced services than previous years to encompass trauma informed care, mental health issues, substance use disorder, therapeutic services and a holistic approach to case management.

 

Given the need for increased services has allowed our Leadership Team and Board of Directors to evaluate the organization and the need for growth. FRC was able to add an additional outreach office in Rupert in order to meet the needs of residents in all of Greenbrier County.

 

This office is conveniently located within the Marvel Center and has dedicated advocates available for services on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
