April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and this years theme is #IAsk

Did you know? 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced sexual violence.

The goal for #SAAM is fo raise public awareness around sexual harassment, sexual assault, and abuse. The goal is to educate our communities on how to prevent it.

To kick off this month, let’s learn about consent.
What is consent?
⭐️ Consent is asking what someone wants and needs and doesn’t want and need
⭐️ Listening carefully to the answer
⭐️ Respecting their decisions regarding their boundaries, needs, wants
⭐️ Creating a healthy space for someone to say no, whether verbal or otherwise

How do you ask for consent? What do you say when you are being asked? #SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth
