Who Are We?
Family Refuge Center is a community-based domestic violence project serving Pocahontas, Greenbrier, and Monroe Counties in southeast West Virginia. We provide free confidential services to survivors while promoting education, prevention, and awareness.

Outreach
Family Refuge Center is committed to building safer, more informed communities through education and outreach. Outreach efforts focus on increasing awareness of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking while connecting individuals to available resources.
Advocacy
Services
Our victim advocates are centered on empowering survivors and supporting them through every step of their journey. Advocates provide free and confidential support to survivors. Our goal is to ensure survivors feel supported, informed, and in control of their decisions.

Clinical
Services
Family Refuge Center offers trauma-informed clinical services to support survivors in their healing process. Our Licensed Psychologist provides a safe space for individuals to process their experiences and build coping skills.

Shelter
Family Refuge Center provides a 24-hour emergency shelter for individuals and families fleeing from abuse. Our shelter is designed to provide immediate safety while supporting each survivor's journey toward stability and empowerment. At no cost to the survivor.
