Anne Blair House Emergency Shelter

Family Refuge Center provides emergency shelter in its 11-bed licensed facility.  Over 15 years ago, the house was dedicated in memory of Anne Blair.

The shelter is a place where survivors can stay temporarily while they work with advocates toward the goal of independence and freedom from domestic violence.  While the majority of the residents of the FRC shelter are domestic violence survivors, sexual assault survivors who need a safe place to live may be offered shelter as well. While we do not typically shelter adult male survivors in the shelter itself, we always offer male clients the same services that we provide for female clients. Therefore, if a male client needs shelter, FRC will provide them with shelter and supportive services, too.
